Over dinner a few weeks ago, my friend Alissa and I decided to start a book club. Salisbury Book Club seemed a bit unoriginal for a name, and then Alissa’s mum made the inspired suggestion the “Blue Stockings”. This suited our purposes perfectly. The whole point of the book club is that anyone will feel welcome, as long as they want to talk about books, of course.
