Friday, August 21, 2009. Our baby . . . April was just great! I could not believe I was going to have a baby! MAy was pretty great too, we were getting excited, and just waiting for the first trimester to be over! I really hadn't been sick at all and was very excited about that. Around the middle of the month we were just getting so excited! Mother's day was comiong! I know we didn't techinically have a baby in our arms, but we were still a mommy and daddy! What do you think about Madeline? I would so say.

Friday, June 26, 2009. What am I thinking? We are going to have a baby! It is a very exciting thought! What are we going to do? What kind of clothes should we buy? We don't really mind whether it's a boy or girl, although a boy would be nice since there are so many girls in the family! What names will we pick? We know we like Edward for a boy - that is Ben's middle name, and what they called his dad - "Eddie". Now, some ask, why don't you name a boy after Ben? Baby due on Dec. 8! Tuesday, June 16, 2009.

Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Today is Maddy's birthday. I still believe her life happened (and is happening) just as it was meant to. I have no regrets. But I do wonder sometimes these days as I watch her brother and sisters grow,. Where is my 6 year old? What would it be. Like to have a 4th child included in this herd of cats? Life on (De) Mars. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. 1/2 C brown sugar. 4C oats (quick or old fashioned). Melt the first 3 ingredients together in sauce pan. Let it simmer for 2 minutes then take it off the heat. Mix together cinnamon and oats in a very large bowl. We use this mostly for snacks and parfaits. Saturday, July 28, 2012. We went to a really neat state park the next day. It's called Silver Springs State Park and it's in Ocala. They have the original glass bottomed boats and you can tour the springs and see super cool stuff under the clear water. I highly recommend it. Oh, and they have manatees! The Villages, FL.

Life on (De) Mars. Monday, May 14, 2012. Waiting to see Mickey and Minnie backstage. Riley seemed to remember what was coming from our last visit to Disney. Brock, who was scared last time, did much better this time! Brock took a nasty fall so we went back to our room for a while and took a rest. We headed back later so we could see the parade and fireworks show. We found an awesome spot on the parade route to watch. No one was there until halfway through. The boys were DONE when we got back to the room.

And thanks to bad planning(laziness) on my part, there is no after picture of the front yard. My bad! Next comes all flat surfaces inside. A little bit of everything. Summer, where hath thou gone? It is 8:23PM and I am dog tired. So far this summer we have been far busier than I had imagined we would be. We have just under one month until school starts for the kids and here is what we're looking at for that time. Phinn goes to church camp. Gulp. My baby, my first born.
