Running Laughing through the Garden State. I received my wedding photos last week and I’ve finally put everything together. My wedding was one of the best and happiest days of my life! It’s hard to believe it was already four months ago! My life continues to live on and I continue to enjoy life. In my last post I put together a final slideshow from the wedding. I also answered a few questions with a survey. I’m a sucker to look at my friend’s big days so please enjoy. This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Checking off a bucket list item. | The Hungry Runner Girl

http://www.hungryrunnergirl.com/2015/08/checking-off-a-bucket-list-item.html

Checking off a bucket list item. August 9, 2015. The day started off nice and early with a run around the perimeter of the Disney parks again. I don’t know why I decided to lean against a palm tree for the picture but let’s just go with it. My goal was to avoid as many stoplights as possible so the majority of the run was up and down this gorgeous palm tree lined street. It was about .6 miles long so I didn’t mind going back and forth for a bit. Headed back to Utah today! The Hungry Runner Girl. I’...

A last minute decision…. August 6, 2015. I don’t have much for you today just a warning). Brooke is gone for a week. The guy has a few days off from work. We have some friends to visit in California and a car to get us there. So, we made the decision to hit the road. His choice of road trip treat which was strangely really delicious. Some pretty views along the way. And Jimmy John’s on the couch. Oh, and a little hello from the Brookers. There will be a little more over on Instagram. You May Also Like.

Ogden 1/2 Marathon Recap | The Hungry Runner Girl

http://www.hungryrunnergirl.com/2015/05/ogden-12-marathon-recap.html

Ogden 1/2 Marathon Recap. May 18, 2015. I had the awesome opportunity to be a VIP runner. And it was incredible. The best part about the VIP runners is that a big chunk of the registration for this opportunity is donated to the YOUNG RUNNERS program (a nutrition and exercise program to help young people in our community to be active). The 1/2 marathon started right at 6:45 and the marathon started at 7:15! Long story short I need to wear more clothes. The first half mile was flat followed by a 1/2 mile u...

Sunday, June 30, 2013. Week 7: Run Recaps. Well, this is another easy recap post to write because I once again didn't do any of my runs. I seriously feel like I am falling apart and have felt that way for years! I read about runners who are 60, 70, 80 and have been running all of their lives. I haven't even hit 40 yet and I feel like I just need put out to pasture. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day and a new week. Posted at 2:05 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Arizona, United States. August 5, 2015. When your guy texts you in the morning seeing if you want to go get some hotcakes for the Brookers you go pajamas made the whole experience that much more fun. Pretty darn boring workouts today and tomorrow but this stuff will get me back to training like normal again next week. Mama, I think that I should get these for my birthday pretty please.”. We are to Cafe Rio as Saved By The Bell is to The Max. Who knew that three aluminum tins of food could bring three women so much happiness.

Training Recap - Running 'N' Reading

http://www.runningnreading.com/training-recap-16

August 11, 2015. We’re finally getting settled in to our new home and I’ve been experimenting with a new schedule; now that I have a three minute commute (it’s not even a mile! To work, everything has changed! I had an easy-paced 4 miler on my training schedule so I didn’t have to go too far. It’s going to be hilly, but it was lots of fun! I’m also closer to the track, which is exciting because I love Track Tuesday! There are definitely some speed workouts that I do. Monday’s route was hilly. I’ve ...

http://www.hungryrunnergirl.com/2015/08/california-day-1.html

August 6, 2015. I’ve got a few things to share from our first day in California. We did the second half of the drive yesterday morning and stopped along the way for Panera because we don’t have one where we live. I am very grateful that he loves splitting food with me. Santa Monica was our first stop. Downtown Disney was our second. Lots of browsing the Lego creations are incredible. Earl Sandwich for dinner Hawaiian BBQ sandwich for the win. We may have gone a little overboard when in Rome (Disneyland).

Training Recap - Running 'N' Reading

http://www.runningnreading.com/training-recap-15

July 28, 2015. We’ve made it to the last week of July so, in my mind, there’s just another 6-8 weeks of complete brutality and then maybe we’ll get a little break. Woo hoo! Want to hear something else exciting? It’s a RACE WEEK! Yep, I’ve got another Arkansas RRCA Grand Prix Series. Race on Saturday (we’re also moving on Friday/Saturday…I’ve lost my mind); it’s the White River 4-Mile Classic. And I love it. You can read my recap from last year. I met my first Oiselle. Two for the Road - Running 'N' Reading

http://www.runningnreading.com/two-for-the-road

July 30, 2015. Two for the Road. We’re almost in the month of August, but summer is not quite over yet. I know that many of you still have vacations ahead and there’s this pesky heat to deal with; some days, you might just want to curl up in your chair and enjoy the air conditioning! I recently read two novels that both make great summer reads, no where you choose to spend your time; if you do have an upcoming vacation planned, these are definitely two for the road…. If I Could Turn Back Time. Ramie also...

We look forward to this dinner all year- they have the best King crab legs everrrr. I made soup early on that got us through a few nights and discovered Red Pears! I got my wrapping done last minute which ended up being a good thing because all of the Christmas wrapping and decor was 50% off at Hobby Lobby! Wishing all things good to you and yours!
