This week we went more indepth on using padding and margins to vary the space with various elements. We also created a navigation bar using and unordered list and using CSS, we dictated how the navigation bar is suppose to appear. Float – can be used to crate columns. Where the Purple Cows Roam. One person's humble and incomplete view of the world. October 15, 2011 in Web Design Summaries. Argh, getting behind again. More on that later. So this week, we worked on basic animation in Fireworks and Photoshop. I haven’t quite gotten used to the setup Fireworks offers, but I guess it’s like learning anything else–it takes time and practice! Pretty neat stuff, on to catching up with week 8…. This is pretty straightforward. The main highlights of my site would be:. A home page directory. An “About me” section. Separate sections for my recent traditional and digital artwork. Where the Purple Cows Roam. One person's humble and incomplete view of the world. October 5, 2011 in Web Design Summaries. This past week was mainly about polishing our strongest banner designs and tiling a background image for them. The tiling background is needed since not all monitors are as small as 800 pixels wide; repeating a background helps eliminate the problem of having a banner cut off abruptly. My Final Project entry is coming right after this. Comments feed for this article. You are commenti...

Very late posting this…but alas, sometimes life gets busy and likes to chunk curve-balls at you. Yay for baseball analogies! Okay now to the point…. This week we covered CSS more in depth. It’s fascinating stuff, really. And a lot of fun to play around with. There are different. That govern which kinds of elements are changed in the HTML: HTML, ID, and Class. I think mine is still...

The S.S. Blog
The SS. Blog. Saturday, September 09, 2006. The end of the SS Blog. Yep, that's right, I'm retiring the SS Blog. But no worries, I'm not pulling a SickBoy. I decided to set up a new blog for two main reasons - (1) since I won't be a Bella for the 2007 cycling season, I wanted to give my blog a new, less Bella-ish look; and (2) there are too many references to my real name (including the URL).and quite frankly, that just creeps me out. While he was vacationing (and now Skibby. Posted by Strats at 9:27 PM.

Ten Paces - Villains Week! I can't really help but be insanely proud of this. This is probably the first illustration that I have done in months that I am truly happy with. Friday, December 08, 2006. Whooonew version of Blogger, exciting :). Well, I was right, Queenstown. Partytown. But.I find it a bit shit. Reason being that I could not for the life of me find any decent cheese-playing venue anywhere. For somewhere with such a huge backpacker population, I find this amazing. Most places played a couple of 'standard' cheese songs (not even Bon Jovi! But never mind, this means that I shall enjoy Reflexing even more back in Bristol :). Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Getting out of Russia proved somewhat harder than getting in. First there was the security line to enter the airport. When my father and I reached the front of the line, the attendant tapped the face of her watch with irritation and said, “Not until 1:00! Russia—with its heavy veil of bureaucracy and completely. By far my favorite site in St. Petersburg, however, was the Church of the Savior on the Blood, which was built by Alexander II in memory of his father, who was mu...
