Kim and Matt updates. Wednesday, August 7, 2013. A couple of the things going on right now- I am studying for my oral exams for my PhD, and I'm scheduled to take that exam early September so that I can get them done before baby Eli comes. I can't wait to have that weight off of my shoulders. So far I have a draft written for my exams, I'm waiting for feedback and I'm working on my presentation of it. Kim and Matt updates. Friday, December 7, 2012. So we have been trying all sorts of new recipes since making Matt gluten free. My kitchen aid has never been used sooo much before! We were very pleased. One of the other things we have recently been eating more of is quinoa and I have been trying to find more diverse recipes for it. Kim and Matt updates. Monday, August 22, 2011. Well we are back and ready for action in school. I've already been back to school for 2 wks now and have my first test already this week crazy! One step closer to the real world for us. Also I'm finally getting the hang of playing piano for church, I've been helping them since January and I feel I'm finally getting the swing of it. Kim and Matt updates. Wednesday, August 7, 2013. New home, 2013. We closed at the end of May on our house. And thanks to the help of Matt's parents for the painting, and my parents for the moving, we were able to re-carpet and repaint the whole house. We moved in mid- June and have been slowly unpacking since then. I have a few before and some after pictures. More after pictures will come soon as we finish unpacking a few things. Kim and Matt updates. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. So my sister-in-law and I have been training for our first half marathon since end of April and now we are less then 3 weeks away til our big race! I'm very excited about this new challenge and my dogs have certainly enjoyed all of the training that has gone into this event. Our race is November 4th at 7am in Raleigh and will hopefully take us about 2 hrs to complete. I can't wait to hopefully post some pictures as well as a story of success!
