I have the cutest nephew ever! Thursday, November 12, 2009. SPEAKers, Parties and Exhibits oh my! Brot Coburn came to our sPEAKer Series to present on his recent discoveries in the Mustang Valley. You can check out the PBS special here airing November 18th! Brot gave an amazing presentation and we had a great turn out! Pictured left to right, Rob Raker, Brot Coburn and Jake Norton. December 3rd we will have a special opening reception for our newest exhibit THIN AIR: An Exhibit on Altitude and Oxygen!

I have the cutest nephew ever! Monday, January 26, 2009. Good start to 2009! Well 2009 is off to a great start! Having had a wonderful Christmas holiday with the families we are back in Boulder and enjoying all the snow we can! Dave pointed out recently that we are half way through! Feels weird to be half way through the ski season already but I have about 15 days of skiing in and looking forward to many more! Here are some recent pics from the holiday and skiing! Ski day at Breckenridge.

So as we continue to swelter here in Music City I noticed Colorado is having quite a cool down with the temp coming in today at 62 this morning.geez I would kill for some cooler weather right now. However every once in a while something pops up that sounds too perfect to be true. It is almost like a little validation that you belong somewhere. Looks safe, right? We didn't let him climb on it for long. He says "I climbing a mountain" and tries to stand up on this. He looks very mischievious in this pic! Which is a common look for him! We were at our friends house and the girls were playing dress up with Maddox! Playing outside at Uncle Alvin and Aunt Diane's house! He loved being in the woods! He looks so little here.One day he won't be able to lay on the steps like this so I wanted to capture the moment while he still fits! 6 lb 10 oz.

The Easter Bunny visited our house and brought Maddox a basket full of goodies- Lightening McQueen slippers, new Matchbox cars, a new bath toy, an Elmo garden (he's learning how to grow tomatoes! New books and some other goodies! Easter Lunch. all the grandparents came to our house for Easter this year! It was nice to gather and enjoy each other's company! Big thanks to Mamaw Eckerle and Gee Gah Wood for doing the dishes (our dishwasher broke! The Big Egg Hunt! Look, Another Egg! 6 lb 10 oz. 7 lb 2 oz.

Summer fun in June! I don't think I have enough space in this blog to write about what a great father Eric is! We all had a great time! Maddox and Anthony spent a lot of time indoors since it was so hot outside. Here, they are taking a break from picking up girls in the bathroom to give each other a hug! His shirt says it all: My Dad is Rad! Maddox had his first official hair cut on June 19th! He did so great and looks like such a big boy! The boys had a lot of fun! We are anxious to meet the newest member of our family! Spring means spending all the time outdoors that we can! Here, I uncovered some worms while cleaning the patio so I showed them to Maddox. Eric arranged a fun golf trip for Kerry's birthday so we arrived late Friday night to surprise him. Maddox gave Papaw a card with the message on it. Keep in mind it was 11pm when we finally got there and Kerry was about ready to grab a baseball bat because he thought someone was breaking in. At least it was a surprise! While the boys golfed, Maddox helped Mamaw cook. I hope he is a good cook like his Daddy! He ventured into Aunt Stacy's closet and found this bear. He loved this thing! The News is Out.
