Today I met some kind folks that belong to the adivasi (indigenous) people group, Tripura. I found love in their smiles. Just right there, in their smiles. Today Liam meets Aunt Sara. I truly felt like I was right there in the hospital room with them. I was even technically the first in the fam to meet sweet Liam! Thank you, Skype. Seriously. August 25, 2011. Liam Sheppard Enger is born! What an amazing and blessed day. I am happy to celebrate my second nephew born into the world. Girls in the Kitchen.

Sweet Tea. Kitty Bath. Today I brought some of the South to the East. It was a hit. I also found out my kitties look quite like rats when wet. But super cute when dry.I really can't decide who is cuter here. Today I used up all of my Bangla tissues and was thankful I had packed my ricolas. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Today, Grace and Jerome took me to our local park. :). For all of us. Room With A View. They often work on this building at 2AM. Today I enjoyed this street. That's My Oven There.

One last look at Bangkok, a sweet kiss on the cheek to Jerome, and then I was off.back home to Dhaka. I will miss you Azoti family! Thank you for the ways you blessed me as neighbors, friends, compatriots in Dhaka, and finally as tourists together in Thailand. God's peace shine upon you! Tourists in the rain. A dreadfully dreary day to go sightseeing, but the Azoti family and I braved it anyway. It was a lovely last day spent in each other's company. Malls, Malls, Malls, and Jellies in your Starbucks.

Saturday, October 16, 2010. Day 143: Hair and Bibles. Today I got a fancy new haircut. Then I butchered a Bible. It's not as bad as it sounds. I promise. Bible Study had a Great Divide Party where we cut up large print Bibles into sections then rebound them with fun printed folders. The idea is to make reading the Bible not seem so overwhelming. On October 26th, Sara departed from Dulles airport in Washington, DC to Windhoek, the capitol of Namibia, to become a Peacecorps volunteer. For the next two years, Sara planned to serve as a Teacher-Trainer in northern Namibia. Sara's assignment was in Kongola in the Caprivi Strip- Katima Mulilo was the nearest large town. Unrest broke out there in early August and Sara was evacuated to Windhoek. On August 18th, Sara returned to the U.S. and is now awaiting her new assignment. In Africa to date.
