Monday, January 12, 2015. Looking up at this picture in our room. Mommy, you see that picture there? Kiernan: You shouldn't tickle people like that when they are trying to score in a game. That wasn't nice. Don't do that again to Daddy. Me: (in an apologetic voice) Ok, I will not do that again. I'm sorry. As Jeff was wrestling with Kiernan next to me, Jeff threw him over and Kiernan fell on me. Kiernan: (in a stressed tone) Daddy, you NEARLY threw me on Mommy and I hurt her! Kiernan: Mommy are you ok?

Sunday, March 17, 2013. Yesterday we went to our school's Fun Fair. We all had a blast, although I think the parents were more tuckered out by the kids afterward. She took a trip to the "Sporty Spa.". Of course a fair is not complete without face painting. And tons of games! Saturday, March 16, 2013. Haynie Herald's Week in Review. Kiernan showed his strength as he declared war on baby proofing. Gabbie has a cute new cut just in time for Disney World. Gracie finally stayed still for more than 2 minutes.

Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Within the past year Gabbie has really taken to ice skating. She LOVES it and is already up to Basic 3 class where they are learning spins, gliding on one foot, and slalom drills. She looks pretty professional with her ice skating outfit. Thanks Grandmom! Sunday, January 26, 2014. Jeff has been hired as an assistant principal at an elementary school in Fairfax. We are so excited for him. He worked so hard to get here and will be an amazing administrator! He Said, She Said.

Sunday, January 26, 2014. Jeff has been hired as an assistant principal at an elementary school in Fairfax. We are so excited for him. He worked so hard to get here and will be an amazing administrator! Friday was his first day on the job. His first day found him as acting principal since the actual principal was away at a meeting. Monday, November 12, 2012. My friend Julie gifted us two of her kids' old bookshelves. I decided to take one of them which was painted white with primary colored letters/numbers and repaint it to fit Kiernan's red, white, and blue bedroom theme. First, I primed and painted all of the letters white again. I then cut the cloth that I had picked out to fit each letter and number. I adhered the cloth with modge podge. No real excuse, I just think I subconciously took a hiatus from blogging for a bit and didn't realize it. In the next few weeks, I am going to try really hard to start blogging again. I also decided to take down the Fort Knox security on the blog because it just isn't easy for some of you to access this, which was the whole reason I had set it up in the first place.
