Saturday, April 30, 2005. I have always believed that real. Love is forever. That said, it trancends death, time, and space. The trick, then, is that one must find true love. So if I find true love, and then lose true love to death. can he find me again? What am I going to do? Write you a good-bye letter, perhaps. Love transcends time, space, and death through memory. and maybe if love proves real, it finds us again in another form. Reincarnated. Posted by sarin thyme at 3:48 PM. Friday, April 29, 2005.

Friday, December 23, 2005. Posted by sarin thyme at 5:16 PM. Thursday, December 22, 2005. My favorite photo of 2005. The San Francisco skyline glitters with lights - even more than usual now that it's the holiday season - and with airline traffic in this photo, taken with a long exposure time from a Fort Baker fishing pier. Sunday, March 26, 2006. Dying for a hearse. To fans, these coffin haulers are to die for. Hearses - individually owned hearses - have a certain mystique about them. In car-bedazzled California, they're that special niche vehicle, something that says many things about its owner and at the same time makes that owner a mystery. Why would anyone want to drive around something that's been carting dead people for years? Posted by sarin thyme at 1:31 PM. Bay Area, California, United States. Elegy for the Fallen.

Thursday, June 23, 2005. Am I good enough? The world bursts at the seams with people ready to tell you you’re not good enough. On occasion, some may be correct. But do not do their work for them. Seek any job; ask anyone out; pursue any goal. Don’t take it personally when they say no they may not be smart enough to say yes. ". Failure’s hard, but success is far more dangerous. If you’re successful at the wrong thing, the mix of praise and money and opportunity can lock you in forever.". Yuppie," short fo...

A place to learn what's really going on in politics, animal rights, and my head. Friday, December 23, 2005. Getting out of Iraq. Maybe. Just days after Iraq's elections, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld on Friday announced the first of what is likely to be a series of U.S. combat troop drawdowns in Iraq in 2006. Rumsfeld, addressing U.S. troops at this former insurgent stronghold, said President Bush has authorized new cuts below the 138,000 level that has prevailed for most of this year. House Minor...

A place to learn what's really going on in politics, animal rights, and my head. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Warning: what you are about to read is graphic and grotesque. This is the real world, the world most Americans are savoring. I have no sympathy for any fate met by those responsible for this torture directly or by consuming these chickens. PETA's investigator also witnessed numerous birds who were scalded alive in the feather-removal tank while they were still conscious and able to feel pain. Plant...
