Pursuit of a stainless steel coracle, via several traditional models. Boyne Coracle finally gets wet. June 2, 2011 by billy25. Today, while two of my students lauched their boats on the school’s fire pond, I put my Boyne coracle in the water for the first time. Maiden Voyage for the Boyne. Metal work is done! Shaping one of the parts. The pile of parts, before bending. The BIG machine, bending the parts. The completed seat and supports. Ribs, ready to start building. Grid of ribs on the floor, starting to bend up the sides. The ‘basket’ almost done; just a few pieces to weld in place. Finished stainless steel frame.
