However, the Blackhawks are still my team, and after all the hardships they went through for the past FIFTY YEARS, they most definitely deserve a shot at the Cup. Combine the two, and you're looking at one of the best potential Stanley Cup matchups in years. Since I haven't been blogging since the trade deadline, I want to share some thoughts about that as well. I can't believe how eventful it was! Monday, June 21, 2010. 6 in a what? 6 in a row, silly. That's how many games we have won. How awesome does that feel? I do understand that these sweeps were of really bad teams, but I already mentioned several times how we are wining the games that we are supposed to! And that is a really good thing. I'm not getting so insanely excited that I can't contain myself, but I am feeling pretty good about how the Sox have been playing here during this streak of awesomeness. Keep it up, boys! 3 sweeps in a row!

Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Well well well. look what we have here. The Bulls in the playoffs. After a year that I was very unsure thy would make it (I mean, they lost 2 games to the NETS) they actually pulled it off. Now, my friends all make fun of me very much for liking the Bulls, but hear me out for a few moments. We might be "playing for next year", but this year is still gonna end with a bang. and Amoung everything else that's going on in Chicago sports, i'm ready for this ride too.

Saturday, June 12, 2010. The cup chronicles: vol. VII: The day Chicago forgot about the crosstown game. Yesterday morning was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. We got downtown around 8:30, which i thought would be somewhat early enough, but I was wrong. We got as close as we could to the intersection with the stage, but we were a little bit south of Wacker on Michigan Ave., pretty much right across the street from the Blackhawks store. Every time I dive in my pool. It's hard to be humble.
