Wednesday, February 24, 2010. It seems funny to me how sometimes life seems so ordinary or like Jane Austen wrote, "A quick succession of busy nothing", and how other days seem extraordinary. Why is this I wonder? Is it based on what side of the bed we wake up on (figuratively speaking), our health, or just because some days we accomplish more, and therefore feel more satisfied with our day. The Zoo was so much fun today because it seemed like all the animals where not only out but being super active. Brick loved to ring the door bell and then when he found out he was getting candy he was even more excited. It was so fun watching him eagerly run from house to house. Our simple, but wonderful life together, forever. Saturday, August 29, 2015. Guy put Cora's big teddy bear around her while she napped so she wouldn't roll off (even though she isn't rolling yet). It was sweet that he was so worried about her. There were several spots with smaller falls and lots of places to play in the water where you didn't feel as if your feet were going to be swept out from under you. I spent this week finishing up the several big projects that I wanted to do. The first was a dresser that I wanted to refinish. It was my grandmother dresser, but it was a little outdated.
