Happy, Happy...: June 2011
http://icebergstockholm.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 6, 2011. For All of the Times I Wish I'd Had a Camera. I don't take many pictures. I probably could take really great pictures if I tried, I just don't have the desire to constantly be whipping a camera out to document my life. I am however married to the "Picture Nazi". Every photo is staged, thought out, planned, scrutinized.re-shot until it's perfect. This is the only reason I have any pictures of my kids. Thank you Mr. Bergholm. I mean this most sincerely. Empty your pockets.". The Peopl...

Happy, Happy...: Things I Wish I Could Do
http://icebergstockholm.blogspot.com/2011/09/things-i-wish-i-could-do.html

THINGS I WISH I COULD DO. 1 Read a book without falling asleep. 2 Clean a room like Mary Poppins.been practicing my finger snap, and no luck. 3 Attend school at Hogwarts. Just so you're aware, I would NOT do well in potions. 4 Write a book that would become a favorite in every language.a la Jane Austin. 5 Date The Count (yes from Sesame Street). May 13...

Five Men and a Lady: August 2013
http://jayandlindsay.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Five Men and a Lady. Jay Lindsay Jack Luke Tripp and Charlie. Aug 30, 2013. Why Can't They Stay Little Forever? Luckily Maryland has had a cooler summer than usual. (So I've heard. It still feels hotter than ever if you ask me.) We have enjoyed a few rainy days. The fun thing about rain here that doesn't happen in Colorado, is that the rain is warm! It kind of feels like a hot shower. However, it doesn't make it cooler outside. Just more muggy and disgusting. It was like heaven! Charlie's steroids cleare...

Five Men and a Lady: Poop on Repeat
http://jayandlindsay.blogspot.com/2014/03/poop-on-repeat.html
Five Men and a Lady. Jay Lindsay Jack Luke Tripp and Charlie. Mar 27, 2014. I thought that we had our lives pretty much under control and that we had a good routine going. I was getting cocky and smug about how good I was at juggling 4 little boys. I should have known better. Every time I get cocky, the crap hits the fan. And in this case.that might have been better. How could they fill a tub twice with that much poop! I got them rinsed off and playing in clean water again. I went to drain the other ...

Happy, Happy...: July 2010
http://icebergstockholm.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Need I say more? Monday, July 19, 2010. I'm so excited I can hardly wait for the washer to be done. I love the silence. I've forgotten how much I miss that. AND as I have become a mother I've discovered the coolness of telling the kids to shut off the wii, and "go play outside". My folks have a wii, WE do not have a wii, and WE will not EVER have a wii. Just can't bring myself to introduce brain rot to my kids). Right now the kids are up painting the play house, with real paint.

Five Men and a Lady: July 2013
http://jayandlindsay.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Five Men and a Lady. Jay Lindsay Jack Luke Tripp and Charlie. Jul 19, 2013. No thanks. I keep telling myself that my kids are having a great childhood, but I guess we will see what their therapist says when they are 30. Tripp and Charlie had their 9 month appointment this week! Can you believe it? They have been such happy little things. I almost don't remember the months they were in the NICU. Did that actually happen? I kind of miss their itty bitty squirrely selves :). The technician got him done in a...

Five Men and a Lady: February 2014
http://jayandlindsay.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Five Men and a Lady. Jay Lindsay Jack Luke Tripp and Charlie. Feb 25, 2014. Maryland has pleasantly surprised us this year with quite a bit of snow! I love how Colorado-y it makes it feel here. Plus, even a dusting of snow cancels school for Jack and work for Jay, so we have had plenty of sledding/hot chocolate/snowman/movie days. However, we still found time to celebrate Christmas! This picture makes me go into fits of laughter. This is Luke's new picture face. I am dying! I decided during a lull in the...

Five Men and a Lady: December, Deschmember
http://jayandlindsay.blogspot.com/2013/12/december-deschmember.html
Five Men and a Lady. Jay Lindsay Jack Luke Tripp and Charlie. Dec 22, 2013. I am behind in pretty much every aspect of my life. Blog included. December isn't really a great month to do catch up either. I think that is why January was invented. Our sweetie Luke turned 3 at the beginning of December! He doesn't really understand presents yet. He would open one gift and walk off to play with it. He was confused when we told him he had more presents. The babies.oh, the babies. They are trouble! Tripp and Cha...

Five Men and a Lady: June 2013
http://jayandlindsay.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Five Men and a Lady. Jay Lindsay Jack Luke Tripp and Charlie. Jun 17, 2013. Back to the blog. Jack started Blastball in April. Basically it is T-Ball, but way more simple. Everyone bats, everyone runs to first, then they switch to the outfield. That is the whole game. Jack was so cute playing. He was the oldest one on his team and sometimes I think he got a little bored. Luckily next year, he will be old enough for T-Ball. Mother's Day was fantastic! Jay took the boys to the zoo for Jack's birthday. ...

Five Men and a Lady: Meet Evel and Knievel
http://jayandlindsay.blogspot.com/2014/04/meet-evel-and-knievel.html
Five Men and a Lady. Jay Lindsay Jack Luke Tripp and Charlie. Apr 4, 2014. Meet Evel and Knievel. Our babies have no fear. I think they wanted to be born so early for the adrenaline rush. I thought that being fragile and newborn and in the NICU for 2 months would be the scariest thing they would do. Apparently I wasn't prepared for their toddler years. And I have a sneaking suspicion that this is just the tip of the iceberg for their teenage years. Heaven help us all. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
