CTEK D250S Dual & SMARTPASS Review. The next thing we needed to decide on was the layout of our van. After much deliberation this is what we came up with. CTEK D250S Dual & SMARTPASS Review. I decided the layout needed a little tweaking. While I was happy with the overall layout I wanted to put a bit more thought into some of the details. This is the original design. And here is the refined layout of the drivers side. Next is the bed/sofa area. Originally I was going to make the ...

While I was looking I came across these for the rear doors on a Ducato/Boxer/Relay and instantly loved them. They are made to the same supplier. The Van PC →. Very good convers...

The construction of a budget camper for a Toyota Hilux pickup ( would also fit mitsubishi L200 or Nissan navara). Sunday, 20 July 2008. I did though get the base in position. It is a very durable and water resistant plyboard used for shuttering concrete formwork. It will be just the job for the base. Sunday, 13 July 2008. Me Shell Ma Belle. Finally the weather has improved a bit and I can get the covers off and make some progress. The main task now is to get the roof on. Now is just the small matter of m...

The construction of a budget camper for a Toyota Hilux pickup ( would also fit mitsubishi L200 or Nissan navara). Wednesday, 3 September 2008. The Spare Room Part II. A big day today as the carpet has been fitted in the spare room. Since the last post we have been decorating. Both walls and ceilings have had three coats of paint, with a bit of filling and sanding before that. Just finished the final coat, last night about 9.00pm and opened a bottle of wine at 9.01pm. The construction of a budget camper for a Toyota Hilux pickup ( would also fit mitsubishi L200 or Nissan navara). Friday, 2 October 2009. Have finally got the camper in use. First trial run was a short trip to the Beautiful Days music festival at Ottery. In Devon. It was my first chance to weigh in the camper and see how it handle. On the the road. I knew the springs on the truck were worn as it's had over 160k of builders loads so made the first trip short. But the truck does need new springs. The MK2&#...

The construction of a budget camper for a Toyota Hilux pickup ( would also fit mitsubishi L200 or Nissan navara). Monday, 15 June 2009. Got some 3mm finished ply for the inside. Not exactly the colour I want but it was cheap. It's starting to look like it should now. Friday, 12 June 2009. Finished fitting the insulation so should be cosy. Used 30mm rigid polyisocyanurate foam as this gives a very good U value for its thickness. Tuesday, 9 June 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
