Thursday, January 21, 2010. Hi Amber. How are you? Your chart says you have a bump on your eye? Hello, I am fine. Yes, I have this bump on the white of my eye. Sometimes it's big and itchy and hits my eyelid when I blink and sometimes I hardly notice it. I am super nervous about it and need to make sure it's nothing serious. By the way, your assistant made my eyes numb and they feel really weird. Yep, Utah is a great example. So what do I do? So will this grow over my entire eye? I don't think it will, b...

Friday, February 26, 2010. Yeah, that's how I feel. That's a typical feeling for me. I am not a sad person. I really try to see the glass half full. I have been through some messy spots. I survived. A logical, light at the end of the tunnel type. It's engrained in me. I get it from my mom. Well it's an adjective. Sure, those sound right. I feel those, but then maybe even something more. Something I can't describe. Something I don't understand. I don't like not understanding. It's like coming in second.

Posted by Alyson @ 12:55 AM. Tuesday, January 16, 2007. I know I've been absent for a while, and I apologize for not keeping everyone up-to-date on what's going on. I probably won't make it to 50 books in a year (my original goal), but I have come up with a new plan so I can start reading again. Posted by Alyson @ 12:15 AM. The boo...

Sunday, March 26, 2006. 2 A Prayer for Owen Meany. I've read this book before, but it is one of my favorites. It contains some objectionable material, so I don't know if I would recommend it to anyone. You'll have to decide for yourself if you want to read it. Other than the few parts that are objectionable, it is one of the best books I've ever read. Here are a couple of my favorite quotes (Owen speaks in all caps as a way to try to explain his extraordinary voice):. From Owen Meany's journal. Okay, so ...

I think this is only for the runners." He asked me to come over to him. "But I have to get my medal? Soon to be Mrs. Brought to you by Amber.

Framed and Booked: 40. When Crickets Cry by Charles Martin
http://framedandbooked.blogspot.com/2012/05/40-when-crickets-cry-by-charles-martin.html
Monday, May 28, 2012. 40 When Crickets Cry by Charles Martin. Guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.". The human heart is remarkable in that it is designed to pump continuously for a hundred and twenty years without ever needing to be reminded what is was meant to do. It just does it. In all my reading and study, I have come to know one thing without any shadow of doubt: if anything in this universe reflects the fingerprints of God, it is the human heart.".
