I Know the End of the Story: Undeserved Hot Chocolate
http://iknowtheendofthestory.blogspot.com/2015/05/undeserved-hot-chocolate.html
I Know the End of the Story. Thursday, May 14, 2015. I want hot chocolate! Okay, well on Tuesday when I asked you, you said you would want an orange juice on Thursday, so I got you an orange juice. I know that is frustrating. I'm sorry, but now we have an orange juice.". I don't know your policy." The manager bent down and looked into my second grade friend's sad eyes and said in a very kind and sympathetic voice, "Would you like a hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream? I was just reminded of...

I Know the End of the Story: The Princess and the Goblin- "We are all very anxious to be understood"
http://iknowtheendofthestory.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-princess-and-goblin-we-are-all-very.html
I Know the End of the Story. Saturday, February 9, 2013. The Princess and the Goblin- "We are all very anxious to be understood". A Timothy Keller Sermon called "Praying our Fears" led me to read the book I quote from below. The words "follow your thread" have rung in my ears when I catch myself questioning the path before me. I tend to assume adversity is an indicator of bad choices. How could this be the right direction? Did I take a wrong turn? Excerpts from the book, The Princess and the Goblin.

I Know the End of the Story. Saturday, February 9, 2013. Living the Dream" - SE Cheerleaders @ Verizon Center. Of course, the squad may have the athletic talent, but as a 2nd grader you can't exactly appreciate how special the opportunity to perform at an NBA stadium is. In my attempt to dissuade a young lady from taking another "bathroom" break, I naturally decided to appeal to her with a ridiculous string of statements, "You are LIVING the dream! This is the Verizon Center! People dream of this! I can'...

I Know the End of the Story: March 2014
http://iknowtheendofthestory.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
I Know the End of the Story. Monday, March 3, 2014. Parking Spots and Provision. Jesus said, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life.". I shouldn't even have to. It should just be there. Why would He care about my parking spot? I don't know when exactly the shift happened, but now I view my daily parking experiences very differently. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.".

The Host Life: September 2012
http://thehostlife.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Living Life as a Family. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. So I kept waiting until I had pictures to share, but I lost the cord to the camera. It's still lost. We went to CA in August and had a great time. Cole screamed bloody murder when we first got on the plane. Quite embarrassing. Luckily it only lasted about 20 min. I know. I say only. At the time it felt like HOURS! But he did fine the rest of the time and fine on the way home. Other than the fact he wanted his seat belt across his shins. My Glamorous...

I Know the End of the Story. Sunday, September 23, 2012. The Lifter of my Head. Before we go in the hallway I try to rally my students to be on their best behavior and "earn compliments" from people we pass. I say, "Pick your chin up, raise your head high, be proud to be an Aggie Scholar! Letting him lift your head? But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head" - Psalm 3:3. I Know the End of the Story: July 2012
http://iknowtheendofthestory.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
I Know the End of the Story. Saturday, July 21, 2012. Black Bears and Airplanes. We were checking in at the visitor's center at Glacier National Park when Kristen mentioned her lifelong fear of being attacked by black bears. Perhaps I am too novice of an outdoors-woman to have a healthy fear of bears, but really this seemed outlandish to me. I mean, what are the odds? K10 preparing for the worst. Thanks be to a God who saves the best wine! The God who sent his son to save a world that was already condemn...
