Scalloping is going out on the water, putting on snorkels and fins, and jumping in the water, and gathering up bay scallops. How many people can go on a scalloping charter? We can take up to 6 people per boat, if you have more, we have more boats! What is included/provided on the charter? What should we bring with us? Anything your would like to eat or drink. Scalloping is great fun. Anyone that can swim can participate. Especially children! The Captain’s run all of There scallop charters out of Homosassa and Crystal River Florida. It’s about an hour’s drive northwest of Tampa and easy to get to the boat ramp. Most trip it dose not take very long to get your limit of scallops and once you’ve got your limit of scallops, the Capt. will take you on a scenic boat ride to the springs to swim in the cool fresh water. Sparks were flying and pans were frying!

Scalloping is a perfect way to get kids out to enjoy the outdoors and have fun while they swim in the gulf, scalloping is similar to an ester egg hunt.
