Thursday, April 15, 2010. I knew it; the spring semester always seems to pass by so quickly. EJ will complete his first year of college next week. Last day of finals is April 24. When we discussed the subject on Sunday he wasn't sure of his final schedule. Kate will complete finals the following week and have one more semester (Student Teaching) before she graduates in December. June 1 - Chloe's graduation. June 28 - EJ reports to West Point. July 10 - 5oth Anniversary Party for Mom and Dad. June 1, 2010.

Friday, August 28, 2009. Chloe turned 17 today, for the first and only time! But this is my 3rd teenager to hit this mark. We had breakfast at IHOP at 6:30 AM. I think Chloe would have asked for a birthday breakfast anyway, but as it turns out she has a very busy day planned. Monday, August 17, 2009. We had a busy, busy weekend. Friday was a furlough day. I accomplished more in that one day than I feel like I've done in months. The biggest achievment was cleaning out the garage. Katie was the motivator for that project. We made a lot of progress. We took one FULL mini-van load to Goodwill! Monday, October 19, 2009. Life without soccer and band is still taking some getting used to. I miss both activities. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. This seems to be the theme of my life. Right now it applies to the weather in Atlanta. We, here in Cumming, GA, are happy to report no water damage, flooding or roof leaks! We are very blessed. Last night after dinner, Chloe and Katie decided they needed an ice cream treat and they wanted it badly enough to face the elements. This meant gearing up for an excursion out into pouring rain. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Good News, Bad News, Good News? The good news is - Katie does not need surgery for her thumb. New xrays this morning showed that the bone had actually moved, but to a better position. Surgery and or screws are not needed. The bad news is that she will wear a cast for 3 weeks. Can anyone say finals? Writing and washing her hair seem to be the biggest obstacles so far. The good news is the cast is pretty pink and she can still move all her fingers. Monday, November 9, 2009.

Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Summer is Flying By. Chloe and I have traveled in the car together over 3,600 miles since June 25, 2010. We are both getting a little tired of the van. Our trip to Myrtle Beach was wonderful. The first few days I was there it felt like spring weather. Just beautiful. I think I have a light tan for the first time in 3 years. The anniversary party was great! So many of our family and friends made the trip to South Carolina to help us celebrate with Mom and Daddy. June 1, 2010.
