Welcome to Science Visions. Science Visions (SV) is a series of lessons for kindergarten through sixth grade. These lessons are based on the Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS). These lessons are aligned with the California Content Standards and as the Common Core Standards are put in place SV will feature lessons aligned with these standards. SV is being created through the efforts of teachers, administrators, and experts in the areas of science and visual literacy. An introduction to our web site.

The Science Visualization Initiative (SVI) is a new organization created as a non-profit public benefit corporation in Maryland (IRS EIN #46-3336115) and currently under review for exempt status under section IRS code 501(c)(3). Depending on the resources available, SVI will provide individuals and organizations with low-cost or no-cost access to strategic planning, development, training, and technical and creative resources that help them initiate projects and manage early-stage growth.
