This is the continuing saga of my attempts to lead a more creative life. This is a Self Portrait Collage (in progress) made out of black, white and gray magazine clippings. This picture was taken shortly before I put glue on a rather large section of the bottom/center. I turned away for a moment to select/cut some more collage pieces and my Himmy kitten, Sophie, decided to place HER bottom right on the freshly glued spot! Yes, poor Sophie received her first bath that evening.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Welcome!: Paintings

This is the continuing saga of my attempts to lead a more creative life. A few of my paintings. 2008 (Summer) Independent Study: Acrylic Painting. Here are some of the paintings I did for my 2nd painting class - an independent study in acrylics during the summer of 2008. I turned the dining room into my painting studio since it was the only room in the house that wasn't carpeted (other than the kitchen or bathrooms) and let's just say PAINT CARPET 4 CATS does NOT a good combination make! I did get some g...

Welcome!: Sad news. :-(
http://www.stormyheather.com/2012/05/i-wanted-to-let-my-family-friends-and.html
This is the continuing saga of my attempts to lead a more creative life. Thursday, May 24, 2012. Sad news. :-(. I wanted to let my family, friends and especially my Mooseheart Family know that my sweet little Mom passed away this evening at 7pm. Mom and Heather - 2008. The nurses and staff at Moosehaven and the Hospice people of NE Florida were wonderful - my Mom was peaceful and she wasn't in any pain. She was 91 years young. I know how much she loved her family and all of her 'kids' at Mooseheart.

We assess the effect of such variation using a combination of genetics, molecular biology, statistics and bioinformatics. We also explore the molecular basis of human disease with high-throughput technologies to empower personalized treatment of molecularly defined subsets. Our main interests are inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Part of the lab ef...
