Quill Upon the Paper: It is my great pleasure to present...
http://quilluponthepaper.blogspot.com/2011/10/it-is-my-great-pleasure-to-present.html
Quill Upon the Paper. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. It is my great pleasure to present. A brand new record, Letters from Sinclair's Eve. And not only that, but a brand new website: Adamwhipple.com. Plus, you are entitled to a FREE DOWNLOAD. From the new EP. What does all of this mean? Yes, sadly, it means that we shall bid a fond adieu to Quill Upon the Paper. It has been our means of communication, the formica-topped diner table over which we've shared coffee, for some 7 years. Letters from Sinclair's Eve.

Quill Upon the Paper: February 2005
http://quilluponthepaper.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Quill Upon the Paper. Tuesday, February 15, 2005. Snakes, Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails. But a life of utopia in constancy is as mundane as a prison cell trapped in winter, at least this side of such an awfully big adventure as death. Heartbreak is as valuable in this life as ecstacy. I need to eat, like Elijah. The journey is too much for me - I'm always a boy. The time for talking is gone with the sun. Posted by A. Whipple at 10:30 PM. Sunday, February 13, 2005. Quill Upon the Paper: O. bin Laden and the Sparrow
http://quilluponthepaper.blogspot.com/2011/05/o-bin-laden-and-sparrow.html
Quill Upon the Paper. Monday, May 02, 2011. O bin Laden and the Sparrow. In the last five years, we have seen the deaths of two men of power, both of whom used that power to incite fear and violence and to oppress. Their actions were Evil. The strictest Atheist would have to at least nod his head in half-hearted assent. You should not look down on your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble.

Quill Upon the Paper: May 2005
http://quilluponthepaper.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Quill Upon the Paper. Sunday, May 22, 2005. Vista Urbana, and not. I write to you from the sunny-side-up climate of Florida's panhandle. I spent Friday driving and watching the best laser light show I've ever seen gracing the sultry southern skies. Saturday was a lazy combination of book-shopping, the flea market, and starlit skinny-dipping in the pool to the sounds of the Counting Crows. Posted by A. Whipple at 2:19 PM. Thursday, May 12, 2005. Quill Upon the Paper: March 2005
http://quilluponthepaper.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Quill Upon the Paper. Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Cufflinks and Hidden Pulses. But whatever happened to silence - that long-lost sister who speaks louder than all the rage of Madison Avenue, all the dazzle of Hollywood? I learned to laugh through my tears. Posted by A. Whipple at 11:14 PM. Thursday, March 24, 2005. By our Love shall we be known. By our refusal to abandone our own flesh and blood of humanity. Our patches make us like Dave and Nancy. We are dirty and drunk and beautiful. And I don't think t...

Quill Upon the Paper: Inspiration
http://quilluponthepaper.blogspot.com/2011/06/inspiration.html
Quill Upon the Paper. Thursday, June 09, 2011. This is some of the most beautiful, mournful work I've ever heard. It is by a young, masterful composer named Eric Whitacre. Carve out a few minutes. Get out your good headphones or good speakers, go into a quiet room, and immerse yourself in this sound. Then go back, and immerse yourself in it again. Every nuance and cherished note has poetry and truth to offer and to reveal. Posted by A. Whipple at 10:15 PM. For booking, email. You can also download from:.

Quill Upon the Paper: November 2004
http://quilluponthepaper.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html
Quill Upon the Paper. Monday, November 22, 2004. Beautiful Confessions of a Closet Racist. I was privileged this past Sunday to play bass at my church with a combined group made up of the choir from Salem and the choir from Mount Olive Baptist Church from inner city Knoxville. Mount Olive is a black church, and they came to Halls! I hope this isn't just a one-firework-show. I really feel that it's the beginning of something huge like I've never seen before. Posted by A. Quill Upon the Paper: Faith of Our Fathers
http://quilluponthepaper.blogspot.com/2011/07/faith-of-our-fathers.html
Quill Upon the Paper. Monday, August 15, 2011. Faith of Our Fathers. This is an entry that I wrote a little over a month ago, then put under my pillow, wondering if it would be worthwhile to post it. It is somewhat revealing, you might say, but I think it might be all the more worthwhile for that. I turned the radio on in the bathroom today, in a move of errant whimsy. There are very few logical Books of Genesis, so to speak, for call-in radio shows, and I daresay most of the explanations are dubious.
