Since it was spring break last week, we got out of town and went to the Tri-Cities area to do a little shopping and go swimming in the hotel pool, but mainly to enjoy working toilets and showers. What if our utilities don't work for months or years at a time? What if roads become impassable and trucks are idle with factories shutting down?
