If not, just imagine Josh Groban or some other adorable Jew singing them. Enjoy. Just chillin in Cali. I'm pretty much a baller. I'm too excited to sleep! Disneyland in the morning! Tiger print pedicure. Yep, i'm wild like that. Just emptied sand out of my suitcase. I miss you, beach. Why is the sky gray? Why is the grass gray? It happ...

I write; you read. Friday, October 8, 2010. I'm pretty sure I've had a blog with this same title, just referring to a much different look. Hmmmm, read on. We had Heartland Teacher convention today and yesterday. It's always kind of fun to have a few days off and sit through some interesting sectionals, and some not-so-interesting ones as well. You can definitely tell it's a convention of teachers. Teachers just have this "look," ya know? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Anyways, I'm going to move away from writing about school for a little bit so I can reflect over this past year. And yes, Kayla, I'm totally stealing this idea from you. :). I have so much to be thankful for! So here is my 2009:. Made the big move to Florida. Spent 30 hours in the car with my BFF Bethany. Parents came out to visit me.

I write; you read. Thursday, August 26, 2010. Tidbits from the Classroom. Science is a tool. It can be used in a good way, or a bad way. For example, you can use a hammer to build a house for a homeless person, OR you can use a hammer to smack someone in the head. Those are baller shoes, Miss V! If you have a picture of a friendly-looking snake, and add downward-facing eyebrows, he turns evil. I love this chair thing! I love it with a PASSION! Monday, August 9, 2010. To Catch a Predator. After two days i...

I have been acquiring quite the collection of zombie movies, zombie books, and other zombie paraphernalia. I have a poster from my sister, and Geron. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The Zombie Survival Guide. This Christmas. I'm becoming quite the expert. I took two quizzes: Would You Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. So why the fascination?

I write; you read. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. So, I don't know if you've heard, but there is a praying mantis in my classroom right now. Yes, a real live praying mantis. I. They also decided its name would be Duke Bobby. It's kind of an inside joke that our class has, although, the joke isn't really that funny, but I suppose we'll go with it. Anyways, Duke Bobby has been hanging out on his stick a lot. He doesn't move around that much, but the kids make sure to check on him every day. Well, kids, it lo...

http://littlepupils.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
I write; you read. Saturday, October 31, 2009. So, two of my kids are out with H1N1. I don't think anyone in the school has it except the kids in my class. Hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes were very popular in my room this week. It's so weird to have two kids out. We had three kids out sick one day too. It feels like so many kids are missing, especially when three kids equals about a third of the class. We did an art project yesterday with the 1st/2nd graders. Little kids are so fun! Yes, I think so. Cm mm...

She's fierce. Ke$ha's new album comes out this week! Maybe it will inspire us to have another photo shoot. Get double rainbow. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wide Eyes: April 2010
http://littlepupils.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
I write; you read. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Tonight was the all-school music program. Meaning, I didn't get home til 9:30. Meaning, it's 10:00 right now. Meaning, I am dead tired and I should be getting ready for bed instead of writing this blog. Meaning, I am such a dedicated blogger that I would do anything for the enjoyment of my readers. Yeah. Trying to understand junior high kids is a job in itself. Teaching them is at least two more. I should be getting paid overtime. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Well,...
