Saturday, December 06, 2008. Thank you Aunty Cath and Aunty Ju. I think they like it. Sunday, May 20, 2007. A pome wot I like. Having completely got out of the habit of blogging, I couldn't resist Viv's challenge to dig up favourite childhood poems. I was part of a choral speaking group in my junior school and this poem by Hillaire Belloc was definitely our favourite to recite as a group. (Especially the long title). Who played with a Dangerous Toy, and suffered a Catastrophe of considerable Dimensions.

ScubaSis: It's been a while.............

http://www.scubasis.blogspot.com/2007/01/its-been-while.html

Monday, January 01, 2007. It's been a while. As the last month has been rather hectic; but I thought it was about time to get back with the 'in-crowd' and post again! We bloggers love lists, and I wondered if anyone had a top 3 highlights of the festive season that they wanted to share? I'll start the ball rolling:. Haven't had much chance to use it yet, except on the cats (see below)! But we're going to London for a few days next week so I shall be like a real tourist, snapping everything in site. 4) ha...

Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Jesus in a white coat. Saturday, October 21, 2006. Am a little snowed under today - Aaron, you are correct, I've been on too many jollys. I've spent Monday, Thurday and Friday in London this week at various meetings and my brain is exhausted. However, rather than have the opportunity to slob about today, I have spent all day doing paperwork etc to catch up on reports, invoices, appointments etc for my private patients. I need a secretary! Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Is that te...

ScubaSis: A poem wot I wrote

http://www.scubasis.blogspot.com/2006/11/poem-wot-i-wrote.html

Saturday, November 25, 2006. A poem wot I wrote. Davie was sorting through some stuff and found this - I'll let it speak for itself but I must explain I was only seven at the time! Well done Shelagh, you wrote a super poem about the circus. I especially liked the use of a rhythmic pattern, which gave it a good pace! I bet 2 house point were worth alot more in those days than they are now! You see Amy is such a good teacher with such positive and constructive comments! And you got your wish.

Reindeer Adventures of Robbie, Rudolf & Rusty: Its Been a While

http://reindeer-adventures.blogspot.com/2007/01/its-been-while.html

Reindeer Adventures of Robbie, Rudolf and Rusty. The daily adventures of 3 very special and obviously magic Reindeer! Sunday, January 14, 2007. Its Been a While. It wasn't the same this year, we didn't put the things out this year, it wasn't the same without Mr FLN. Mrs FLN didn't seem up for it either, she just sprinkled the magic reindeer food on the drive - to help the chosen reindeer fly. Here we are again trying to play hide and seek. I really like hiding in trees. At new year our friend Pos...Good ...

Amy and Amiability: May 2007

http://webgirly.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html

Postcards from the edge of reason. Wednesday, May 23, 2007. As threatened, a poem what I wrote. Who shouted out and died in gruesome circumstances. There was a girl called Clara Sprout. Who was forever shouting out. Her teacher said, Your hand must go. Up in the air so that I know. You want to speak. Oh don’t you see. You mustn’t shout out me me me. But night and day and day and night. She shouted me . It wasn’t right. Her friends were cross. They got fed up. Clara Sprout will not shut up. When I was in ...

Tales from the Tardis: May 2007

http://talesofatimelord.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html

Tales from the Tardis. Sunday, May 20, 2007. This week Teapot and I have been to two cricket matches. On Thursday we went to Lords in London to watch the first day's play between England and West Indies. Earlier today we went to Edgbaston with Al who is a member there to see Warwickshire play Leicestershire and win. We hear his footsteps in all sorts of places. Sometimes they are woven subtly almost imperceptibly into the daily music of life. They are never overtaken by the noise of the stronger ...Of co...

Tales from the Tardis: April 2007

http://talesofatimelord.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

Tales from the Tardis. Thursday, April 26, 2007. Dave was 62 when he died this week. He was out jogging when suddenly he passed out of this world and went to join El Pasto and FLN entering a reality described by C.S. Lewis thus:. The term is over; the holidays have begun. The dream is ended: this is the morning.the things that began to happen after that were so great and beautiful that I cannot write them. I remember his obsessive commitment to Gilbert and Sullivan. He and his friends would try to at...

Tales from the Tardis. Sunday, October 29, 2006. Before you think I have gone all highbrow this is not a blog about the hero of the Kingsley Amis novel of the same name. It is a story in the unfolding about my friend Jim.lucky Jim some would say. Not because he is a season ticket holder at Aston Villa looking forward to the ongoing revolution under St Martin, not because of his vast collection of vinyl records going back to before Cliff was a lad (he must have a lot? Lucky Jim. No way. My advice. Some of...

Reindeer Adventures of Robbie, Rudolf & Rusty: Call me Reindeer *!!*?!

Reindeer Adventures of Robbie, Rudolf and Rusty. The daily adventures of 3 very special and obviously magic Reindeer! Tuesday, January 08, 2008. Call me Reindeer *! Living in the Tardis with Teapot, Timelord and Junior Timelord is a very tiring business for a little reindeer like me. So catching up on some shut eye with a past master like Tiger is a good thing. I have heard from Robbie and Rudolf that Mrs FLN likes monkeys but I can see why even Australians would be insulted by being called one. Come...

Well, we were stunned this evening by the naughtiness of that cat. We went round to TimeLord and Teapots for our tea. Not only did he hog all of Mrs Freelance Nerds time, by sitting on her knee and giving us evil stares! Posted by Robbie, Rudolf and Rusty @ 7:37 pm. English Blogger (Davie B). http://talesofatimelord.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

Tales from the Tardis. Saturday, March 31, 2007. Your days of sorrow will end. So says the prophet Isaiah. But not yet. I travelled to Lancaster on Wednesday and picked up a copy of the Times on the train to read these words as part of an inside article. They were written with great feeling by one who knows. We carry our loss with us but one day sorrows will end. I am the Lord in its time I will do this swiftly. Posted by timelord in the tardis at 10:14 pm. Friday, March 30, 2007.
