Gracie's baby thoroughbred: horse_people
http://horse-people.livejournal.com/156231.html
Regardless of the fact that baby pictures are definitely a cliche, there is nothing cuter than a baby and so I feel the need to share my latest experience. Gracie's baby, part thoroughbred, part warmblood courtesy Popeye K. Liz's new colt will be put into hunter training. A winning hunter has beauty, poise, grace, good breeding, and perfect confirmation. Their owners require a big bank account or trust fund. Liz has neither but the new baby is lousy with good breeding. The rest will come ...We'll keep ou...

Some Time (For Plants): January 2007
http://sometimeforplants.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Some Time (For Plants). Saturday, January 20, 2007. I repotted Hens and Chicks from Plantworks in nice earthenware pot from Plantworks, and its doing well on the outdoor bathroom window ledge. The garden place at the Tuesday Farmer's Market in Brooklyn had more hens and chicks so I got one from them too. It's on the living room window sill. Ir's cold. Baseball season is long past, and I can't seem to care about football this year. Tommy LaSorda, what am I supposed to live for now? View my complete profile.

Some Time (For Plants). Wednesday, October 18, 2006. I've bought 2 new seed packets, Viola and Forget-Me-Nots, with the intention of planting them on the now vacant window ledge. That has a whole page about Hens and Chicks. Who knows if any of these plants will survive what I have planned for them. Posted by Linda Talisman at 10:27 PM. We'll see if they'll adapt. Some Time (For Plants): August 2006
http://sometimeforplants.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Some Time (For Plants). Sunday, August 27, 2006. One out of Four Finds a New Home. The kids did not pot the cuttings at camp, so Friday at pick-up time I collected the pots, soil and the 4 cuttings in peat pots, still in the shoe box M. and I had used to bring them to camp, and went to the park next door. Special thanks to Chris who watered the cuttings during their time in the office! M and Jen, a girl waiting for her mom to pick her up, helped with the potting. Maybe a stoop sale? I've been wondering i...

Hi I'm working on a book and I wanted to ask a qestion and maybe be pointed in the right direction. How long can you run a horse before you have to rest it? How long can you trot a horse before you have to rest it? How long can you walk a horse before you have to rest it? I am of course speaking of a horse somewhere between 5 and 10 years of age.
