Sunrise Dutch Education Fund. Is een fonds die het mogelijk maakt dat kinderen uit Nepal, die nu in een weeshuis verblijven,. Maar wel een ouder hebben, terug naar huis gaan en door het fonds verzekerd zijn van onderwijs. SDEF is een kleinschalig maar zeer doeltreffend project. Wanneer een kind wordt geadopteerd door het fonds, is geld dat nodig is voor tien jaar onderwijs voor hem/haar gereserveerd. Het geld gaat niet naar ouder(s), maar rechtstreeks naar de school.
