Film Sound Talk: December 2008
http://filmsoundtalk.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
I just had to share this. and yes it's true. Once upon a time". the director was talking about what kind of sounds he liked, and specifically pointed out a few scenes from "No country for old men". He said "Why don't you just use the sounds from that movie.". Which we thought was kinda funny. But then he followed it up with "Cos there's not really any music in that movie.". Film Sound Talk: It's funny how we see/hear things differently in the world
http://filmsoundtalk.blogspot.com/2008/10/its-funny-how-we-seehear-things.html
It's funny how we see/hear things differently in the world. I had the same thing the other day. I was taking out the studio recycling before a session when a glass bottle slipped out of the bucket and broke on impact with the concrete.
