The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman: October 2010
http://mickskayak.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman. Thursday, October 14, 2010. We headed for the shallows around Beaulieu river and anchored shallow but allowed ourselves to drift over some deeper areas. I caught three tiny Bass, Tim on the other hand not only caught more but some were a lot bigger. I had to be content with some nice photos of a beautiful sunset. Tim with his Bass. The sun shines on the righteous! Links to this post. Thursday, October 7, 2010. Eagle Cuda 350 (before the sea turned nasty).

The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman: It isn't just about the fishing....
http://mickskayak.blogspot.com/2010/11/it-isnt-just-about-fishing.html
The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. It isn't just about the fishing. We had a change of venue and launched the Kayaks a couple of miles further up the coast at Calshot. There was a fairly strong southerly breeze and it made fishing from Lepe unsafe. Calshot on the other hand, offered a bit of protection from the wind if launching from the main slipway and heading in the direction of the power station. Tim in the shallows. The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman: June 2010
http://mickskayak.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. So I'm a Jinx. The last couple of times I've been out I have been alone and not caught much. Tim on the other hand, and Chris his son, the new kid on block with regards to Kayak fishing, have done rather better. Bass to 3 and a half pounds and some bream. So, I gladly accepted the invite to fish with them and see whether I could learn something from the smug duo. 3 and a half pound Bass. So what about the 3 and half pound Bass?

The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman: A Special day.
http://mickskayak.blogspot.com/2011/04/special-day.html
The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Time coming. So halle bloody lujah and may the pension fund stay healthy. It was encouraging to see that the Mackerel are in at Lepe, the earliest I've seen them in years. I also caught a Bass but not keeper. So not a great day in terms of fish caught but a beautiful day, sitting in the sun, watching the world go by and counting my blessings. It's a good life. Free man with a tiddler. The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman: meagre offerings.
http://mickskayak.blogspot.com/2011/08/meagre-offerings.html
The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman. Tuesday, August 2, 2011. These last few months have been pretty non-productive but none the less enjoyable. I have been out on a number of occasions, including a trip to Kimmeridge and still caught very few fish, sometimes none, hence the lack of blog entries. Nothing to shout about. August 3, 2011 at 4:56 PM. At least whilst you were short on fish, you had plenty of time to take some great photos. Hope things pick up for you soon :0). Brookbank Canoes su...

The Trials and Tribulations of a Kayak Fisherman. Thursday, March 29, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A blog of my adventures Kayaking. Written for fun and not to be taken too seriously. These are worth a look. The Hobie Outback Kayak is a fantastic fishing platform if you are sensible and take the necessary safety precautions. Loading system is also important if you care about your car. Unless you are built like Arnold Schwarzenegger that is, I am not. Road Trip - Wales and Cornwall (Part 1).

Kingfisher yaking: June 2010
http://kingfisheryaking.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Friday, 25 June 2010. Well the time had arrived and the Mull of Galloway was the destination. We arrived Thursday morning and made camp at Sandhead, the weather was looking good and the anticipated fishing was causing excitement. First launch was at Ardwell where the fishing wasn`t as good as anticipated, some Mackerel, a few doggy`s and the odd Smoothy were all the sea could offer, not a sign of Tope. Friday saw us launch at Terally Bay, now this was a good day to say the least. On arriving back at camp...
