McCall’s M5813 Pants. Flirty Skirt NewLook 6463. Finished skirt New Look 6463https:/ seamstobe.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/64633.jpg. On: February 15, 2010. I would share a pic of me wearing it but it is Sunday and I did not feel like getting made up to show you. AND, it is still dreary outside and cold. I promise the next time we have a sunny and warm day, I will get some pics of me in this skirt. Meanwhile, you just have to settle for this pic of the skirt. Next project: I bought McCalls M5813! You are...

McCall’s M5813 Pants. On: March 1, 2010. I was really excited about this pattern when I found it. I could not wait to get the fabric. I finished the pants today. The pattern was very easy, just a simple elastic waist pant that is kind of pieced to add flair. The legs are very wide and if you ask me so very bohemian! I love the fabrics I picked out for this pattern. I mean they really look kind of sloppy. I’m a little disappointed but not ready to give up dang it! On: February 15, 2010. I finished the New...

NEWLOOK PATTERN #6896 | Seams To Be

https://seamstobe.wordpress.com/2010/02/07/newlook-pattern-6896

Flirty Skirt NewLook 6463. On: February 7, 2010. Before you cut the pattern out! I totally missed in the layout that you have to cut out 2 of # 5 and #6. When I got to #15 on the instructions for view A….I was so confused until I went to look at the cutting layouts again. Pay close attention to the “right side of pattern…wrong side of pattern” etc. Update: I wanted to show you a pic of me wearing these new pants. Also, I have since found out the the fabric I used is called Pique. Enter your comment here.

Behind the Seams

Sunday, June 24, 2012. So the craft bug is hitting me again. I have been on quite a hiatus but all I can think about now is making something. This week with the kids a way I am hoping to tackle something relatively easy. Perhaps a quick top or skirt. Wish me luck. Hopefully I can pick up some momentum. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Sooo what did I do this year:. I was able to finish one scarf (I promise I just haven't uploaded the finished pics yet),. Start a cowl,. Actually epic fail but whatever). For t...

Seams To An End

Seams To An End. Thursday, January 8, 2015. First finish of 2015 and progress on my Grand Illusion Mystery Quilt. I should have called it Evolution. It started out as a simple charm pack project . Simple being the operative word. too simple. So I sliced the blocks and added thin strips. Better. Add more strips. Set it on point. Much better. Introducing . Treillage. I'm hoping it will bring comfort and cheer to a friend undergoing treatment for cancer. Check out GIMQ progress by others on Bonnie's linkup.

Things I made. Things I'm thinking about making. Monday, February 14, 2011. Gift wrapping with fabric. Quick Simple. Cheap! A great way to put scraps to use. Monday, February 7, 2011. There was discussion about whether or not I should take a pattern from the orignal bag and make a completely new one. In the end, we decided that I would simply replace the lining because the bag itself is so special! A fantastic community theater in Beech Grove. (Go see a show! This is when inspiration struck! After adding...

Seams to be you and me | The (mis)adventures of two quilting friends

Seams to be you and me. The (mis)adventures of two quilting friends. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Avery’s Challenging Quilt. May 2, 2015. It seems that every year I have that one quilt which just gives me absolute fits. This quilt took on a life of its own, throwing curve balls at me nearly every step of the way. Why, I don’t know. It was a simple pattern! She also wanted to pick out her own fabrics. Mom and Avery went shopping at Hobby Lobby, and this is what I received:. I worked...
