Putting the rock in rocking chair. Thursday, August 26, 2010. She is loving it. She tells me she likes the home center, play doh, and tea cup spinner (pictured above) the best. It was a daunting task, finding people we could trust to take care of our little Type 1 princess, but we did it. I'm learning that it's ok for other people to help us take care of her. um, provided inservice, educational DVD, on going training, detailed carb counts, phone calls, log books, drop ins, etc. :). February- 5 months old.

Putting the rock in rocking chair. Friday, January 14, 2011. Darcy had her 15 month appointment this week. Little Dink now weighs 26 pounds. She is in the 75th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for height! Shes gonna be tall like her mom and dad. ;) We didnt get the stats on the head though. They probably just assumed we knew it was off the charts. :). Heres a pic of her at Miss Judys this week doing her favorite thing. Aw Little Dink.I love that! Friday, January 14, 2011. Putting the rock in rocking chair. Sunday, January 31, 2010. January was a great month. Let's see, we. um. Well, we. dangit. Can't really remember anything beyond yesterday. I'm sure it was another month full of loving, playing, nursing, diapering, burping, glucose monitoring, insulin injecting, pottying, bathing, etc. etc. All decked out in pink, Maya sips on a low carb drink. Guess what that means! The first and last dance class. for now. Maya claims she doesn't like "Baby Dance". Love life and lams.

My mother-in-law, Renee, was a huge help. She did so much for us. We just can' t thank her enough. Those first couple of weeks we mainly just stared at Darcy while she slept. She played with Maya, spoiled Darcy, and helped around the house. We even went to get pedicures one day. All 4 of us girls! Maya showin' off her pedicure. Take for example this conversation that came out of nowhere:. Mommy, how did I get in your belly? You just kind of grew in there.". Noooooo. But how did I get IN there? How do you think you got in there? I think I kind of slid in when I was really tiny". Yeah, I think it was something like that. Hey look! Pretty sure, I blew that conversation. :).
