Saturday, April 6, 2013. Just when I thought we might have a slow(er) month. Ha! That's the last time I will be thinking that. I think it turned out to be our busiest month yet. There was a 16-day stretch where we had something going every single day and night of the week. Monday, October 28, 2013. Our Trip North, Odykirk Reunion and August Recap. He had to wear a head wrap bandage for a week until he had his staples removed by Dr. Akrawi. His wound healed up very well and he'll just have a minor scar, thankfully. We also had our monthly Small Group study at Panera one Tuesday evening and we met up with some college friends in East Lansing for dinner at Beggar's Banquet at the end of the month, which was a lot of fun! Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Spring Bucket List - 2013. I never really planned on continuing these bucket lists each season, but I’ve kind of enjoyed doing them. I still can't believe our peanut is 1, though! 2 Go strawberry picking. We picked a few berries in a friend's yard, but we never actually went berry picking at a farm. 3 Tend the veggie garden, orchard, and berry patches. Check! Saturday, November 17, 2012. Bristol wore the baptism gown that I wore as a baby when I was baptized at Hope Lutheran Church in Linden. It was a little big on her, but she still looked so beautiful in it. Bristol did so well during the baptism. Pastor Biermann held her facing outwards (she likes to see the world and know what is coming), so she was happy as could be and did not fuss at all. Thank you, everyone, for celebrating with us! Tuesday, August 28, 2012. A Weekend Up North! We spent the first weekend in August up north. This was Bristol's first overnight trip and she did awesome! She slept better than she ever had - 5.5 hours one night and 6.5 hours the next night!
