Dirt and Dogs: Toward Another Ride
http://dirtanddogs.blogspot.com/2010/09/toward-another-ride.html
Wednesday, September 1, 2010. August 18, 2008. This was my first stab at the lightweight version of bikepacking. Very little equipment on a capable full-suspension bike. Some maps, some open country, and not much of a plan. Landon drove us out of town in the evening and we spent the night under the moon by his truck. My new untried lightweight sleeping bag was chilly in the night but adequate. A good thing to know before heading out on my own. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Spiders: They are Cuddly.

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Aesthetics of Decay: Birds. Story and photos: Trina. Now that you've had a gentle, flowery introduction. I seem to stumble upon an inordinate number of dead birds in my daily wanderings. Whether it is because they are a particularly fragile life form, or my eyes are especially tuned to see them, or I'm frequenting unusually deathly places, I don't know. I do know that I find them irresistibly haunting and moving. Labels: aesthetics of decay. August 31, 2010 at 11:16 PM. Dirt and...
