http://abblakepoetry.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Poetry Corner of Ann B. Blake, Ph.D. Thursday, July 7, 2011. My family is a family. Of that there is no doubt. The challenges of their times. All of life’s trials. The worst of the worst. History has not been kind. Deaths, rapes and murders. They have had to live with daily. Live with on their minds. Have tested my ancestral women. And they somehow survived. And somehow they managed to live on. And to go on and to thrive. And now in the Halls of History. They can stand up and be counted.

My next big adventure is in May (17th-18th in La Connor WA). I have been invited as a panelist/performer for the Skagit Valley Poetry Festival! Leave a Reply...

Turns out to be MC Jin and his crew dressed as janitors (sorry….custodians). School’s been good, I seriously love Hong Kong…doing what i can to try and manifest a return trip in the near future, there are some irons in fire. I’m finding three months is not gonna be long enough. BNV – Yellow Brick Road. Http:/ www.poetrynight.org/.
