The Seattle Surfer

This blog is going to have surfing, snowboarding, tech stuff and maybe some 'meaning of life' stuff if I'm feeling particularly stoked. Friday, July 01, 2005. It's the Fourth of July holiday weekend here in the US and as the big day approaches, the likelihood of our firstborn arriving on this most American of days is ever increasing. It will have American citizenship either way but if it arrives on the fourth I might just have to call it Bud or Chad. And Every Second Counts. Posted by brian at 2:20 PM.

The Seattle Surfer: Deja Vu

http://seattlesurfer.blogspot.com/2005/05/deja-vu.html

This blog is going to have surfing, snowboarding, tech stuff and maybe some 'meaning of life' stuff if I'm feeling particularly stoked. Tuesday, May 03, 2005. Route 44: 6:47 Wallingford to Montlake Freeway Station. Route 242: 7:13 Montlake to Overlake. Reading: June Edition of MSDN Magazine. Listening: Modest Mouse - The Moon and Antartica. I suppose there are many articles which I'm enjoying as a first time reader and someone else has already read and that's exactly why they have to do this kind of thing.

This blog is going to have surfing, snowboarding, tech stuff and maybe some 'meaning of life' stuff if I'm feeling particularly stoked. Tuesday, November 30, 2004. Dawn patrolling this morning. Up at 6:30 and on the road for 6:45. Hit the 'Port just before 8 (still dark) and both beaches had clean, offshore waves. East Strand would have been perfect for my 9'2 but I had packed a 7'6 mini-mal for convenience so I reckoned it would be better suited to West. Trying to explain to anyone why you would get up ...

This blog is going to have surfing, snowboarding, tech stuff and maybe some 'meaning of life' stuff if I'm feeling particularly stoked. Tuesday, May 10, 2005. I Thought He Was Dead . No, not the alcoholic comedian, the Microsoft consultant. I was sitting hacking away (on top secret stuff) when I heard the unmistakable dulcet tones wafting down the hallway. I figured maybe it was just the truth-serum mixing with the kool-aid and all the subliminal messages being beamed through the building.

This blog is going to have surfing, snowboarding, tech stuff and maybe some 'meaning of life' stuff if I'm feeling particularly stoked. Monday, June 20, 2005. It was a beautiful weekend here in Seattle, perfect weather for the annual Fremont Fair. The traditional and now almost mainstream "Naked Cyclists" were very much out in force. Two Badly Parked Volkswagons. Saturday, August 27, 2005. It's been a While. In short.I've been remiss, I started this blog initially because I just wanted to slag Brian and for him to know it was me. It then became a method for keeping in touch with friends who I don't see that much. It's been light in posts of late, mainly because I've been up to my eyes with work stuff. But enough, got to get back on track.time to Blog! Cheesy grin and rocking his head from side to side). Posted by Marty at 11:36 pm.

The Blog With No Name . What's in a name? Wednesday, June 08, 2005. Last night was the first of four Parentcraft classes that Lisa and I are attending before the big day. The topic of the night was the run up to labour and the labour itself. Absolutely fascinating! I had no idea that the first stage of labour could and probably would take about 7 - 10 hours and then there's another 2 hours of pushing, grunting and sweating before the baby's finally born. The Blog With No Name . What's in a name? Tuesday, August 09, 2005. As my three weeks paternity leave draw to an abrupt close, Megan has hit the dizzy heights of 5 lbs in weight. A pound isn't an awful lot of weight to most of us and to the dieting community among us it would be a fairly dissappointing loss in a week, but we can't forget that 1 lb is a quarter of Megan's birth weight. I need and exit strategy . Posted by Stephen . at 7:27 PM. Bangor, United Kingdom. View my complete profile.
