E3 was a side project of live improvised music that I had in London in collaboration with Jardar Westvik. Letters theme for Numbers. This was part of a film score for Numbers, directed by Benjamin Wlodawer ( www.imdb.com/title/tt1945147/combined. A hopeful, concentration camp escapee hides in a bunker, writing a letter to his brother, wishing not only to meet him again but also survive the hardships of wilderness and war. This is another dance piece, and its the first one I created. I collaborated with Angelina Krahn in early October 2010, who told me what her concept was. The piece has three males and one female, who becomes infatuated - almost obsessed - with these male figures, who she views as perfect. I was asked by emerging filmmaker Rheanna Toy if Id be willing to score music for a dance film that she had put together with choreographer/dancer Karissa Polsom. Of course, I took the offer! The video was in the post-production stage when Rheanna contacted me, and I met with her and Karissa to discuss what they were looking for.
