Birds R Us: Coffee with a goose.
http://flockenstein.blogspot.com/2007/05/coffee-with-goose.html
The day to day observations of an Ornithologist in North America. Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Coffee with a goose. I’m not scared anymore. I went out for a stroll today to grab a coffee, and what do you think I saw? A goose of course. Wouldn’t you know it, a WOODEN goose rolled along the sidewalk right next to me. She said hello, and so did I. She looked really familiar. Maybe I’ve seen her on television? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Who's visiting my blog. 2 Birders To Go.

The guys at Ornithology Club will never believe me. If you want to see the photo up close, check it out on Flickr. Monday, March 19, 2007. I’m going to go out first thing tomorrow to search for it again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Who's visiting my blog. Birders On The Border. 2 Birders To Go.

Birds R Us: Time to get out of town.
http://flockenstein.blogspot.com/2007/04/time-to-get-out-of-town.html
The day to day observations of an Ornithologist in North America. Monday, April 23, 2007. Time to get out of town. They have followed me to California! I can’t get away from them! What do they want from me! They are tormenting me and I don’t know what I ever did to them. I ran away as fast as I could and am now back in my hotel. Maybe I’ll go back home tomorrow. Birds R Us: The geese are trying to tell me something.
http://flockenstein.blogspot.com/2007/04/geese-are-trying-to-tell-me-something.html
The day to day observations of an Ornithologist in North America. Tuesday, April 17, 2007. The geese are trying to tell me something. This is getting out of control. Click here. To see some of the photos of the migration formations I’ve observed over the past two weeks. How is it physically possible for birds to fly in the shape of an emoticon? These birds are either extremely intelligent or extremely odd. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Who's visiting my blog.

Birds R Us: The geese are alive.
http://flockenstein.blogspot.com/2007/05/geese-are-alive_04.html
The day to day observations of an Ornithologist in North America. Friday, May 4, 2007. The geese are alive. I’m in such shock that I don’t know how to even begin this post. My day of innocent web surfing turned into yet another encounter with the geese. I found them. Not in the sky or in the park this time, but on the Internet. It appears as though they have infiltrated the webosphere. Out of control. Click here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Who's visiting my blog.

Birds R Us: Another encounter.
http://flockenstein.blogspot.com/2007/05/another-encounter.html
The day to day observations of an Ornithologist in North America. Tuesday, May 15, 2007. I was out for a drive on the 401 searching for turkey vultures and I saw another one of the geese. It flew by quickly but I’m sure it must be related to the others I’ve been observing. I managed to take this photo. Before she flew away. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I have a Ph.D in Ornithology from the University of Worcestershire. I spend most of my time in the outdoors studying rare species of birds.

Birds R Us: Acceptance.
http://flockenstein.blogspot.com/2007/05/acceptance.html
The day to day observations of an Ornithologist in North America. Tuesday, May 8, 2007. I’ve now entered into a new phase: acceptance. These geese are now a part of my life. I’m just going to admit it. So today, instead of ignoring their existence, I went in search of them and boy did I get lucky! The guys at Ornithology Club still don’t believe me, but wait until they see what I was able to document. These photos. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Birds R Us: Taking a break.
http://flockenstein.blogspot.com/2007/05/taking-break.html
The day to day observations of an Ornithologist in North America. Tuesday, May 1, 2007. I am back home now and have decided not to venture outdoors. This is a very difficult task for me considering that birding is my life and birds live outdoors. But I think my sanity is more important. On today’s schedule: catching up on my e-mail and doing some online shopping for binoculars. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Who's visiting my blog.
