A new Germanna organization is forming! The Germanna Research Group seeks to provide a forum for research and dissemination of the genealogy and history of the Germanna First Colony and the Germanna Second Colony, as well as Lieutenant Governor Alexander Spotswood, who brought the Germans to Virginia. GRG will provide an on-line forum, an on-line journal with content about our ancestors (as opposed to organizational chatter), and meetings that emphasize the genealogy and history of our ancestors.
