If it's secret, and in Scotland…. Where does the time go? Kelvingrove galleries already up for revamp. It’s funny how time can pass you by and you hardly notice it. I went to the 2006 opening (or re-opening of Kelvingrove) after its massive refurbishment – and due to various changes in circumstances around since then, never made it back. If it's secret, and in Scotland…. New Visitor Centre for Pitlochry hydro power station. It’s rather a long time since I ventured into the original Visitor Centre at the Pitlochry Power Station. Somehow, whenever I was in Pitlochry I always seemed to be busy doing other things, and by the time I got to end of the day and had some time… well, the doors always seemed to be closed and locked by then. Energy company SSE has confirmed it will build a 4m visitor centre overlooking its hydro dam in Pitlochry.

If it's secret, and in Scotland…. A new project has been announced by RCAHMS – Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland – RCAHMS. It will be interesting to see what it comes up with, since I’d have thought just about everything that could be dug up about the river had been, and was published somewhere, thanks to the heritage of all the sites along its route. But you never know what you don’t know, so hopefully it will find some gems over the next few years. What will it do?

If it's secret, and in Scotland…. Proposal for historic motorsport attraction on old Rest and Be Thankful road. I find it weird how a monstrous eyesore like Loch Lomond Shores can be built in a National Park (where the authority is supposedly stopping the place from being spoiled by development) with apparently no objection, while something that would keep alive a fairly well forgotten historic memory attracts negative comments. These happened way before even my time, so I never had any chance to see them.
