The Society's 2016 Annual Exhibition will be held in Sedbergh School Library from Friday 19 August to Monday 29 August. Open every day 10:00am to 5:00pm Admission to the Exhibition is free and many of the exhibits will be for sale. Friday Meeting 30th Sept 2016. Heather Davies - 7:30 pm to 9:30pm Methodist Hall Sedbergh. Saturday Workshop 1st Oct 2016. Clive Wylie - 10am to 4pm Methodist Hall Sedbergh. Perspective in Landscape. Watercolour. But some members meet weekly in the People’s Hall to paint together, and there are occasional Workshops exploring new techniques and ideas. Monthly winter meetings continue in the URC rooms. Now, in 2015, membership of the Society stands at around 55, and 110 paintings were on show at the 2014 Exhibition. Our Founder, Harry Bracken, would be delighted to know that the Sedbergh and District Art Society is still flourishing 43 years on!
