This blog documents the years i went crazy. MPG on the LCD. Sarah and Leanne at the main library. Opened May 2006. After a week of rollin round town on bikes with a pack of kids dressed for the apocalypse, Leanne and I are soon to be headed west. We're skipping the Dakotas (if we can help it) and traveling straight through to Montana via the high line. Thinking about what Ralph said. I'm thinking a lot about the distribution of information, and the stigma associated with the use of that information. ...

This blog documents the years i went crazy. Desert Yard Ghosts and Scandinavians. Tonight I went down to the Oakland Union Pacific train yard - the Desert Yard - to bid a ghost goodbye. Gonzo, my spiritual adviser for a few nights under the stars at Black Butte, passed in his sleep a few nights ago. I heard of the news this morning. I'd like to post Joey's homage to Gonzo instead of my own drunk ramblings. I think he did a brilliant job of proper tribute. Homage to the Gonz. Gonz was the real thing, old ...

This blog documents the years i went crazy. We're in the Brother's Room, in the mansion, with the key, holdin it down, yeah, we're invited. Portland has been an unexpected "getaway" spot, and had it been expected, I might have better prepared myself. We're taking a ride on Monday to Northern California, on which we'll be stopping in Ashland, Oregon on the tip of free chocolate and nut butters. It's getting cold in Portland and I'm ready to go South. Food-bank instant mashed potatoes. And he still recalls.

This blog documents the years i went crazy. I got some cool neighbors, a few good hiding spots amidst the chaos of the Bay, and the incentive to work cause there's not the kind of beauty here that's gonna take up much of my time. Anyway, here's some pictures, taken by Heather, a rad lady we picked up in Portland on the way down the coast on our July adventure. Here's a few. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Alison, my sister. Dotage St. Louis: I'm a Cherokee Person
http://stldotage.blogspot.com/2010/07/im-cherokee-person.html
Search This Blog (A.K.A. "I Dote On."). Thursday, July 15, 2010. I'm a Cherokee Person. Just last week, I attended the Pecha Kucha night that took place at the Contemporary Art Museum. I saw Mike Glodeck there - proprietor of one of the city's best coffee joints, Foam. We had a brief discussion on what was the next step for Cherokee Street. Mike mentioned that the street needs more people living on. I'm excited to say that, as of today, I'm living on Cherokee Street (Foam is now my neighbor! Foam is prob...

LOVE-O-RAMA Records: LOVE-O-RAMA Update: The Golden State!
http://loveoramarecords.blogspot.com/2014/11/love-o-rama-update-golden-state.html
Thursday, October 5, 2006. LOVE-O-RAMA Update: The Golden State! It was cold at Crater Lake. We'd considered camping there originally but we arrived at dusk and, though the view was beautiful, the campgrounds were closed for the season. We drove on south for a LONG TIME to find a campground. After breakfast and some map-reading, we headed on down US 199. Into the spectacular Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Where we stayed for the next 3 days and nights. That's a big tree. Our little river beach home.

This blog documents the years i went crazy. We've been in the Bay Area for nearly three weeks now. Most of the time here has been spent in San Francisco at 5lowershop. DWe have turned the back yard into a self-sustained coffee/art/music spot, going as far as to build a wood-pallet patio containing a burn barrel and occasional tv/vcr combo on extention cord from the warehouse, upon which last night we watched Bruce Springsteen's video anthology 1978-89. "It's 1985! I have a lot to tell and not the time to...

This blog documents the years i went crazy. In the midst of death we are in life.In the midst of life we are in .linear detail. I’ve been living up on the farm now for over two weeks – after St. Louis I. Took a week in SF, and 2 very brief visits to Eugene and Portland. My friend Matt, who owns Feral Farm and is an encyclopedia on wild. Edibles, turns out like myself, has a fondness for abandoned structures. Life here has been great so far. Last Monday's potluck brought out Matt. Alison, my sister. In th...
