Paula MacArthur | Seeing in the Dark
https://seeinginthedarkblog.wordpress.com/paula-macarthur
Seeing in the Dark. Artists inspired by the night and it's light. Everything I’ve had but couldn’t keep, 2012. MacArthur’s current series of paintings are based on photographs of gemstones. The image deteriorates as the viewer approaches; the focus moves from the subject. Toward the physicality of the painting process. Viscous and watery colours slip and. Merge, becoming ephemeral as the jewels’ fire, echoing the often unattainable ideals. These minute treasures symbolise. Final Day Exhibition features.

Hair etc, continued. From Kenyatta market (and other Kenyatta market-ish places like Umoja stalls), another beauty option are home salons. These are located in estates and other residential areas. While you can get hairstylist or beautician to come home and fix your hair or nails. (Or you can take a walk in town, there are quite a few stalls nowadays where men are giving women pedicures). Monday, December 27, 2010. When christmas is over, we all know it is time for some new year resolution! I have been doing resolution, for the new year, the past 5 years or so. Seeing Into Life
It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass. And loses itself in the sunset. Life is beautiful in its simplicity. I want to be deeply rooted in it -. To live - to expand - to breathe in it -. To rejoice - to share it. Life is not anything. But an opportunity for something. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Life just gives you time and space -. It is up to you to fill it. Life is what you make it,. Life is a field.
