Tuesday, October 26, 2010. A styrofoam cone and paper-mache . . . a festive little hat was. I covered it with old Halloween post cards, old photos and newspaper. The silk flowers and bow are wired on the top. It was fun to do - the only creative project I have made. Time for this season. Link is fixed to DIY Dish - sorry I goofed before! Thursday, February 23, 2012. Fresh Feathers in the Nest. She had not really loved the barbi-pink color from the beginning but had patiently lived with it for several years. I felt like I was doing one of those TV shows on HGTV as I ran around town looking for the perfect rug, lamp, etc for her room. The entire room was re-done in just 24 short hours and we loved the outcome! Hope this inspires you to do a room you have been putting off doing. Next stop will be a bathroom! You just need to search for them!

Thursday, September 16, 2010. Cael loves to play with this "GAK" stuff. It is a slime - - even better than play dough in his mind. We have made it for several years, and it is always a hit. It's gooey and slimy and keeps well in a ziploc bag. The recipe is:. 1 cup Elmer's Glue. Mix above together in a bowl. Separately, mix together. 1/4 c hot water. Slowly add the two together.
