By TJ, Cheryl and Ethan. Thursday, May 05, 2011. We have one week left till our big move. Most of the house is packed up now, separated into rooms - boxes for right away, boxes for storage, furniture for right away, furniture for storage, furniture for refugees, and things we'll need on the road. We'll be leaving May 8th and taking six days to travel across the country. We hope to arrive Friday the 13th. Tee hee! You didn't really get this house! Needless to say we will miss our friends and church here g...

Our Life: October 2011
http://tjandcheryl.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
By TJ, Cheryl and Ethan. Monday, October 31, 2011. It's The Little Things. Well, we are getting settled into our new life and home here in Ohio and are looking forward to taking our little fellow trick-or-treating tonight then coming home to hand out candy! I think the last time I did either was more than 15 years ago and I'm looking forward to seeing all the kids dressed up and having a fun time. Service like that is usually lost in the city. Another gentleman with a golf cart (golf carts are all the ra...

Our Life: Summer is Here!
http://tjandcheryl.blogspot.com/2013/06/summer-is-here.html
By TJ, Cheryl and Ethan. Friday, June 21, 2013. Summer has arrived here in the Northwest corner of Ohio. Here's a an odds and ends update on our life these past months. Has been off work since mid-February with a back injury. The short story is that before Christmas Ethan jumped on his back. The pain from that healed, but his job was very. Early March - it took some doing to stand up again after sitting like this. A month later he entered therapy and was told not to sit up straight like this. We are livi...

Our Life: September 2011
http://tjandcheryl.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
By TJ, Cheryl and Ethan. Monday, September 19, 2011. Many of the following photos were taken at Greenfield Village in MI. We went with my aunt and saw an old car show (nothing before 1924? Rode the train and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the village. It was rainy in the morning but cleared up to a beautiful sunny day. Ethan looks rather bummed in these family photos but I think that's because he wanted to be moving and looking, not just sitting and having his photo taken. Skipping again, back to the p...

Our Life: January 2014
http://tjandcheryl.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
By TJ, Cheryl and Ethan. Wednesday, January 01, 2014. As it's been several months since I posted I thought nice "wrapping up the rest of 2013" post would be nice. I think the biggest, and most unexpected, piece of the last months of 2013 was that TJ got a job! I ended up applying to 75 positions, had around 5 interviews and didn't get a job. He applied, in total, to around 4 jobs, had one interview and got the job! In other news, Ethan turned 4 in December! I started a small home business later in the ye...

http://tjandcheryl.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
By TJ, Cheryl and Ethan. Friday, December 16, 2011. Can my little one be two already? Whether I realize it or not it has been two years since he was born. Here's a photo each month (mostly) from a later ultrasound to December 2012. Interspersed in the photos are tidbits on what Ethan is like at 2. I may add more of these tidbits later, but wanted to get this posted today. Enjoy! He loves trains, tractors, trucks and airplanes. Really anything with wheels that moves. Although we're not officially potty tr...

By TJ, Cheryl and Ethan. Tuesday, January 17, 2012. A Few Home Update Photos. I'm busy these days getting out the baby things and trying to keep the house clean and work on projects. Whew! Here are a few photos from the past weeks:. Ethan was finding treasures while I was working in the guest room, so cute! Helping daddy snake the drain. Turns out the pipes were completely blocked by black icky stuff. Now we have all new pipes and everything drains! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Few of My Favorite Things.
