Like my friends think of me as an introvert, my mother sees an irresponsible one in me, my ex girlfriend expects me to be a loser, and we somehow want our image to match that expectations. I just have to cherish its memories, and the parts which I felt being with it, the feelings I had when it was around. But then too with a sigh, I love it. I gloat over it. I touch its surface knowing I can’t have those ripples in my life which I created. I just let it go. I know the only difference that may count is that I can’t create those feelings.
