A post-advertising flee to Europe. Friday, September 11, 2009. Two weeks in London was the perfect way to end the trip. It was such an easy city to be in and it was beautiful. I was reminded of Paris, the two having very similar architecture, and histories that wove together so tightly. We also lucked out with our accommodations. I feel as though there’s a priority of badassery in the running community that ranges from ultrarunning (very badass) all the way down to Disney races (definitively not badass: insert word that’s the complete opposite of badass here). I consider myself very low maintenance runner. The idea of ultrarunning – trails, camping, getting dirty? Why spend the ridiculous amount of money? Why wake up at 2:30 am for a race?

Tuesday, July 14, 2015. From Tommorrowland to Kansas City and Back Again. On our way to see the new IMAX film, Tomorrowland. I stopped at Hop Stop over in East Nashville with Ashlee. I have been here several times, but this was her first visit. I had the Wet Hot American Wheat. From Finch's (Chicago), then Damascene Apricot Sour Ale. From Tin Man Brewing (Evansville, IN) and a sip of Ashlee's Pear Harvest Smokey Treat. From Calfkiller Brewing (Sparta, TN). This is their Chicago Dog. All were very solid.
