The Jones Family: December 2010
http://visitjonesblog.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 3, 2010. We had a busy, but wonderful Thanksgiving. We started the holiday with the birth of our very 1st nephew on Wednesday! Chase Patton Wilson joined the family at 9lbs 3oz! We're so excited that Landon will have a boy cousin so close in age. With three older nieces already in the family the boys are going to have to stick together! We're blessed to have our health, an awesome family and of course our sweet little boy! Playing the piano with Donovan. Bundled up for ICE. Mom of 2 Boys.

The Jones Family: November 2011
http://visitjonesblog.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Both of the boys are 2 months old here. Tyler is a pound heavier than Landon was at 2 months. Landon looks chubbier in the picture but I think he's just scrunched down more. The pants were only pulled up to Tyler's thighs because they were too small. Posted by The Joneses. Where has the time gone? I can't believe how quickly the past 4 months have flown by! Landon - I can't believe our big boy is 3 years old now! Blowing out the candles on his Mickey Mouse cake. Likes to sing ...

The Jones Family: April 2012
http://visitjonesblog.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 20, 2012. Last Friday is one I will never forget. Our upstairs air conditioner has been on the fritz and needed replacement so we had a repair man at our house. We just replaced our downstairs unit last summer so we were less than thrilled to be replacing the upstairs now. Darren and I had talked several times throughout the day about the A/C guy’s assessment and what this news was going to cost us. Landon plays in the backyard almost every day so this was a big lesson for us in how easily ...

Reading for Refuge: November 2013
http://readingforrefuge.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 14, 2013. Defy by Sara B. Larson. Release Date: January 7, 2014. A lush and gorgeously written debut, packed with action, intrigue, and a thrilling love triangle. First I want to say I'm sorry that I have been MIA. Again. I was out of state last week and then my 3 year old had surgery on Monday so I've had my hands full and my mind on other things. Anyway. One day, Defy. Showed up in my mailbox. I opened it with dread in the pit of my stomach and began reading. And kept reading...The d...

Reading for Refuge: Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson
http://readingforrefuge.blogspot.com/2012/05/edenbrooke-by-julianne-donaldson.html
Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson. From a terrifying run-in with a highwayman to a seemingly harmless flirtation, Marianne finds herself embroiled in an unexpected adventure filled with enough romance and intrigue to keep her mind racing. Will she be able to rein in her traitorous heart, or will a mysterious stranger sweep her off her feet? Fate had something other than a relaxing summer in mind when it sent Marianne to Edenbrooke. You'll laugh out loud. :). I loved it too! When Hol...

Reading for Refuge: If I Stay by Gayle Forman
http://readingforrefuge.blogspot.com/2011/08/if-i-stay-by-gayle-forman.html
Tuesday, August 02, 2011. If I Stay by Gayle Forman. In a single moment, everything changes. Seventeen year- old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall riding along the snow-wet Oregon road with her family. Then, in a blink, she finds herself watching as her own damaged body is taken from the wreck. A sophisticated, layered, and heartachingly beautiful story about the power of family and friends, the choices we all make -and the ultimate choice Mia commands. I loved this book. The end.

Reading for Refuge: Cross My Heart by Katie Klein
http://readingforrefuge.blogspot.com/2011/11/cross-my-heart-by-katie-klein.html
Thursday, November 03, 2011. Cross My Heart by Katie Klein. True love can blossom in unexpected places. This is Jaden pretending not to notice. . . . As they bond over Edith Wharton's tragic novella, Ethan Frome, the "bad boy" vibe Parker plays begins to dissipate. Soon, Jaden finds herself shedding her own "good girl" image: sneaking around to be with him, confiding in him, and ultimately falling hard for this leather-wearing, motorcycle-driving loner who plays into the rebel stereotype. I'll admit that...

Reading for Refuge: Losing Faith
http://readingforrefuge.blogspot.com/2013/10/losing-faith.html
Thursday, October 24, 2013. I really was going to post a book review today but I've had something on my mind literally all day that I wanted to talk to you all about. So, recently a book was released that was the concluding book in a series. I'm not going to say which one it was (so don't ask), but it was a startling and incredibly huge disappointment. This isn't the first time this has happened and I feel like it needs addressing. I always feel a bit frustrated when I wait a year (and sometimes two) for...
