Use of the George Foreman makes this meal super-quick to get on the table. 8 lamb chops (cut from a rack). 3 tb peach nectar. Salt and pepper to taste. Marinate the lamb chops in a mixture of the other ingredients. Then cook on the George Foreman for about 5 minutes. 1 lb green beans, trimmed. Salt and pepper to taste. Handful of grated parmasan. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Dinner at Osha Thai, San Francisco, CA. We went to Osha with some friends and ordered quite a smorgasboard. I think in the end it was approx. $30 per person. This was a bit sweet for us and the raisins seemed really out of place. We were expecting something a bit more savory and the sauce served with this fish was just too sweet. There was nothing particularly wrong with this dish, but it was nothing special. Basically, beef was wrapped around veggies. Green Curry with Beef.

Saturday, February 03, 2007. Lunch at Mayflower, San Francisco, CA. We had haircuts in the Richmond, so we met some friends for brunch at Mayflower. We arrived a bit too early, before the cards came around, but it everything was very tasty. The meal came to about $11 per person. Usually this dish is not too great, but this time it was perfectly salted and very crispy which was a nice contrast to the silky interior. A bit too slimy. Decent, if a bit firm. Very fresh today. Monday, August 31, 2009. Oakland "Streets Eats" Street Food Festival. We decided to head over to the Oakland "Street Eats" street food festival yesterday, not sure what we'd find. It was way better than we anticipated. We'd never been to Jack London Square, and it was a very pleasant spot; right on the water, sunny, live band playing. But the food was the star. We tried Gerard's Paella. My great find of the day was LaLoo's Goat Milk Ice Cream. Giao and I also tasted the fig baby food and it was tasty....
