Curated by Black Sassy Artists Collective a collaboration of more than twenty artists. An exhibition of prints, photographs and sculptures to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Huon Valley Environment Centre. It seemed the right thing to do at the time, loved the fabric it matched the dark panel behind sofa, the reverse colour, and I do like the finishing look, but when I started sewing I realized having kids and white fabric for cushions was a rather brave or stupid! Thursday, May 21, 2015. It all started with the Julie Paterson's. At her Sydney textile fabric shop called CLOTH Fabric. Her fabrics have a beautiful quality and texture to them, and being a lover of handprinted fabrics, I couldn't resist and bought some remnants with the idea of making a shoulder bag for myself. This was 5 years or so ago and since then I've had many remarks on my now tattered bag. Anyway, back to my story. After playing around juxta-positioning fabrics, here are the creations.
