Insert banner picture here. Sunday, June 9, 2013. Singapore 22 September (saturday). Big day for Formula 1, its qualifying day. But only later in the evening. Was mostly food trip on that day, went to Tiong Bahru market to get food , and visit some cafe. Later went to the Gardens by the bay, we bought tickets from Australia when planning our visit. I love the super trees. Wish i could have my own. Marina Bay Sands was also quite spectacular, Singapore had nothing like that 10 years ago.

Anyway this was our first day out in Singapore, there was a nice view of Universal Studios from the hotel balcony, the plan was to get some food at Stranger's reunion, one of my friend's café. So we left the hotel and took the MRT again towards the café, i can't remember where we stopped but i found myself back near Eu tong sen street , near the hospital where Yufan works. MRT express seen from Michael Hotel. They were selling mooncakes in Vivo City.

Woke up early morning to get ready and bumped into Yufan's dad and he gave me some Chai Tow Kway , its the first time in my life eating that! F1 was great, specially with front row grandstand tickets. Was totally worth it. First time on grandstand, first evening race also. There was some concert after the formula 1, and the race was so long it had to finish before all the laps were done. Too many safety cars.
