Ramblings from beside the River Rea. August 7, 2013. Flowers power their way back. LOVE seeing the wildflowers back in strength in the reseeded meadow at Cannon Hill Park. Yarrow, ox-eye daisies, cowslips – they were all here and more when these photographs were taken a week or two ago. Most of them have now wilted and faded away but it’s still a great place for the butterflies, bees and anything else that flies or crawls – as well as us, of course….
